My husband and I worked with Carol Haaz in finding a home for about four months before we were married. Our goal was to be in a house soon after (if not before) our wedding. We were both in separate apartments and did not want to move our belongings into storage and then move them again once we found our home. Carol spent many of her Saturdays, and a few consecutive Saturdays and Sundays, with us looking at homes after sending us listings to choose from throughout the week. She was very patient and understood each time we said we weren’t satisfied with houses we saw. She didn’t pressure us into hurrying up, or appear to lose patience with us. When we would become discouraged, she would reassure us that the “right house” was out there and that we just hadn’t run across it yet. She would check in on us and always let us know of homes we’d seen that may have dropped in price since our last viewing. If we changed parameters of what we were looking for, she made the adjustments in the search and kept helping us. In the end, the house we ended up buying was one we never would have chosen to see based on the property description and flier alone. She had spoken with the selling realtor and thought it was something we might find interesting, so she included it in one of our Saturday trips. Looking at the fact sheet, we didn’t know why we were there, but when we saw the home and the property, our opinion completely changed. During escrow, we used a number of people Carol recommended for our loan, home inspection, and retrofits and they were all qualified and reputable people. Carol offered a personal, honest, and patient touch that is not very common in these days of hurrying and rushing. She was very considerate and did not try to talk us into anything and this helped make the whole experience pleasant.

My uncle passed away, leaving me his house to do with as I saw fit. I live in South Carolina, the house was in California.
My daughter and her husband went to California and talked to a number of agents. Their feelings were that Carol Haaz would move heaven and earth to do right by me when it came to selling uncle's house. Let me say that that is exactly what happened! There was a major plumbing issue when California had that tremendous rain storm in late January. Carol paid for the repairs so we could proceed with the repairs quickly.
We sold the house to a couple who will love it and treasure it the way my uncle did for 40 years. For that I can only say a very heartfelt "THANK YOU" to Carol Haaz. She made the whole process as painless as possible and as pleasant as possible.

We are newlyweds who are expecting or first baby in July. We were living in a condominium and believed we had outgrown it. That's when we called upon you to help us sell our condominium at a fair price and find our dream home that we could afford.

Our experience in purchasing a home would normally have been stressful and frightening, but you made it as simple as going on vacation. We now know we have more that a real estate agent, we have a valued friend.

I met Carol Haaz just out of plain luck. I called Pinnacle Estate Properties and asked for a real estate broker, and I was put in touch with Carol. That bit of luck and a lot of hard work on Carol's part transformed me from a renter to a homeowner.
Weeks before that phone call, I had called many other brokers, half were completely pushy and were looking to make a quick buck, while the others completely disregarded me as a client due to my youth. Every person I spoke to seemed to see me as a young boy who wasn't to be taken seriously and would be a waste of time in their busy schedule.
I told Carol what I was looking for and I had very specific guidelines for the area as well. Within a few days Carol hd found more than five properties that fit my budget, and we toured them. She quickly grasped the essence of the home I wanted to live in. Unfortunately, this was during a time when there were hardly any properties available in the area I wanted to live. Somehow, Carol kept calling me twice a week with new properties on the market. We would be off to go look at them within hours of the houses going on the market.
Carol never rushed me into anything. As we entered a house Carol would let me look around. If I liked it, great. If not we would leave and that property was left behind. As I explored the houses, Carol would explain specifics of the properties, and them pros and cons of the features. This was also a big help to a first time home buyer like myself. These types of qualities made me feel very comfortable, and as though we were always on the same level and NOT like a little boy wasting time.
The real estate market had fewer properties by the day. This fact combined with my specific tastes made things difficult. However, Carol had not given up hope and also was keeping my spirit going and gung ho looking for a place to live. Carol kept adjusting her life around my extremely hectic schedule. Working in the film industry my hours vary day to day making it more difficult. Carol kept things working as smooth as silk and got things done as fast as a jack rabbit. We would be at houses only hours after they had been on the market. then one day we found a property and it was "the one". Carol helped me put a bid in within no time.
The following days we were in a bidding war. But, my bid was accepted with a lot of persuasion on Carol's part. There was another bid higher than mine, and Carol was there to help sway the sellers toward my favor. Even after moving in Carol has been wonderful, keeping in touch, explaining things to me that I would not have known, being a first time homeowner.
I believe that any person looking to buy a home would be wise to have Carol Haaz as their REALTOR. She will make their house hunting experience pleasurable and help start turning a newly purchased house into a home.
